MKTG 345- Week 2- Performance of Campaigns

Creating campaigns is a great way of getting traffic to your desired destination, but its only half the battle. The other half is maintaining the campaigns, and by that i mean over viewing them and making sure that they are running smoothly and efficiently. This is import because we don't want a campaign that isn't generating any results, especially if were paying for it.

Chapter 4 in CASA Marketing Intro to Google Analytics focuses just on this aspect of over viewing.

Google Analytics is a very effective way of over seeing everything that is happening in terms of getting attention to your site. It shows you everything you need to know, including location, new viewing, old viewings, returning viewers, new viewers, and man more. It is very simple to use this piece of technology. You can look at how many page views there are per day as well.

Location is a very key topic with gaining traffic. One has to see where is his or her ad generating the most amount of publicity. Based on this you can target that particular area or areas with your marketing to gain even more viewership. Google analytics can do just this for you. It tells you where all your traffic is coming from and exactly where you should be targeting.

Trends are also very important to view. When are you generating the most viewership? Different trends can cause issues in generating viewership. It can stall at various points. Looks at these trends and being able to see these changes can help one create changes and corrections to improve viewership.

MKTG 345- Week 1- Getting traffic for Analytics

Traffic for a blogger is one of the most if not the most important aspect. As a blogger, one wants to get as many people to see his or her work as they can, but that can sometimes feel like and incredible task to accomplish. There are so many questions that are being asked at once when thinking about gaining traffic to your page.



Some of those questions include:

• Where do i start?
• How do i approach people?
• How can i network market and connect with people?

These questions can all by answered with simple solutions.

One of the easiest ways to gain traffic is by sharing the link on social media. The more people you reach with that link, the higher the chance is that someone will go on that site or blog. Social media is an incredible giant of networking. Its the future in terms of connection with society. When creating these posts and sharing the link, be sure to include visuals, because ultimately images catch the viewers eye. Lost of color to drag your viewers in. Can't say I have ever seen anyone attracted to a black and white boring picture.

Another way is to simply use the resources that are hidden. By this i mean Facebook advertisement. On Facebook you can create paid advertisements that can reach out to a vast amount of people. Facebook is a huge social media giant that is intertwined with the world. Everyone either has or has been a Facebook user. These paid advertisements can reach out to certain individuals or groups, certain locations. It can reach nearly anyone and everyone.
