MKTG 349- Week 4- Campaign update

Looking into my campaign for this week, and i see that my numbers have gone down in terms of overall clicks for the week. To help better improve my clicks ratio per week, i plan on looking into my key words again and seeing what is working and what is not. Through this process of elimination, i can further look into what key words will generate the most views on search engine web pages.

The next step in improving my campaigns will be looking at the structure of the ads that i have created. This will help me see if they are appealing to the general audience, and if they are not then that is something to look into changing.

I want my campaigns to be short and simple but at the same time get my point across to not just one audience, but all audiences. I need to create something catchy but yet appealing for a person who sees it to want to click on it. It has to be an attention grabber.

On the bright side even though my clicks went down this week, i still have the most clicks generated over the time of my campaign. That means that even though some key words are not generating many clicks, some are still getting the job done.

MKTG 348- Week 4- Developing Personas

What are Buyer personas and why are they so crucial to creating a successful inbound market? The answer to this is quite simple. Buyer personas as described on good are " semi-fictional representations of your ideal customer based on market research and real data about your existing customers."

Buyer personas are a crucial component of successful inbound marketing, particularly for the sales and marketing departments. After all, the marketing team needs to know to whom they are marketing, and the sales team needs to know to whom they are selling.

Buyers personas fall into different categories. There are eight categories in total.

1. What is their demographic information?

2. What is their job and level of seniority?

3. What does a day in your life look like?

4. What are your main points? What do you help them solve?

5. What do they value most? What are their goals?

6. Where do they go for information?

7. What experience are they looking for when seeking out your product or services?

8. What are their most common objections to your product or services?

Through all of these categories, businesses can have a better idea on what they are to focus on and how to please customers as well as create a product that has satisfaction for both the consumer and producer.

MKTG 349- Week 3- Leo the lion

For the past few weeks we have been working on creating ads to post to google through Google Adwords. I decided it was time to try and make my audience bigger, and therefore i created an ad for a lion. The reason i chose a male lion, was because the word lion is such a highly searched word, and it will get many results.

The lion that i picked was named Leo. I went about choosing Leo, because as a kid we all watched the Lion King, and looking at images of Leo made me think of my childhood. Leo was brought to the national tiger sanctuary in November of 2013. He was part of a pride of African lions that consisted of two males and three females. Leo is the older of the males, and has a darker and fuller mane of hair. What distinguishes him from the other lions is his light color and the spots on his forehead. He is a very friendly lion and loves to greet people.

The way that i went about creating my ads for Leo was as i mentioned before, The Lion King. I named my first ad this because of his resemblance. The Lion King is such a commonly searched name, and it has exposure to all ages. It goes from younger kids and relates to adults like myself. I'm hoping to get Leo a lot of clicks through my ad and hopefully some donations. I also created another ad that i named Hakuna Matata, which also relates back to the Lion King. That phrase in particular means "No worries for the rest of your days". The purpose of this phrase was again to attract anyone who has seen the Lion King.

MKTG 348- Week 3- Authority Labs

Earlier this week we were asked to create an account with AuthoriyLabs. The purpose of this account is to help monitor all and every one of our SEO sites. It will helps us better learn how to manage our accounts and it will help us utilize different aspects to tracking.

Many might be asking, What exactly is AuthorityLabs.com. AuthorityLabs is a search engine optimizer that helps one keep track of every aspect of their company. It helps provide day to day data on how your ads are doing, what key words are being searched the most based on different search engine sites such as Google, Bing, Yahoo.

It not only helps you manage your own accounts, but also your competitors. AuthorityLabs gives you the opportunity to compare your competitors domains side by side, in order to help give your sites the upper hand. It is great for the purpose of seeing what is working for competitors, and it gives in an insight on what has to be changed on your site to make it that much more popular.

MKTG 349-Week 2-Madison the White tiger

Earlier this week I did some research on a webpage called nationaltigersanctuary.org. This webpage in particular focuses on exotic wild life. The whole purpose of this website is to provide information on exotic animals, and to study their way of living by creating a safe and loving environment. This is a non for profit organization that was created in 2000 to help give exotic wild life a better way of living.

One of the animals that really caught my eye was a white tiger named Madison. Madison is a young white tigress that came to the sanctuary in 2011 with her mother Nikki. Madison is still a young tigress, and life hasn't been easy for her having to adjust to a new living place. She is tall, elegant, and has big blue eyes which look like the ocean.

I was really intrigued by Madison, so i decided to create a google adwords campaign specifically for her. This campaign was designed to help bring more awareness to the nationaltigersanctuary.org, and to have people hopefully donate to a good cause. The donations for Madison would be used to help provide an even better living environment, not only for her, but also for all the other exotic animals living there!

MKTG 348-Week 2-RGBstockexchange Key Words

Earlier this week i wrote about a small article, and posted it onto rgbexchange.org. The purpose of this was to help create awareness of the site, by using key words that relate to the article i wrote. The article talks about the process of getting social media supporters to become donors to a non-profit organization. The purpose of this was to help figure out what key words from that article were the most sought out on the world wide web.

The process of doing so was one that was very simple. In the article that i chose, "Turning Social Media Supporters into Donors", the key word most used throughout was e-mail. It talked about how connections with people around the world who follow you on social media would be stronger, and thus making them consider becoming donor easier. The whole purpose of having an e-mail is to help create a better bond and connection with your supporters.

This process of connectivity helps the social media supporter feel more important and thus resulting in them potentially becoming a future donor to your organization. E-mail will not only help make that person feel important, because it will send a specific message to just them. The issue that may come about with this process is that of having to send a personalized e-mail to every social media supporter, which would result in a large consumption of time. Many of the social media supporters may not even respond, which would make it that much more difficult, but non the less it does create a type of connectivity to your supporters, and it makes it clear that you are taking time to reach out to them.

The website that i posted my summary of the article is on rgbexchange.org. This site is specifically a non for profit organization that helps people trade stocks. The purpose of this site is to help stoke exchange by key words, and it relates back to our assignment of finding key words for the article we chose. Different key words help people come to the site and visit. These key words can help bring in new supporters and eventually turn them into donors.

MKTG 349-Week 1-Adwords

This past week, we as a class, had to create a Google Adwords campaign for a non for profit site that talked about tigers that are in captivity. The creation of a Google Adwords campaign was an easy process that helped us spread the word about tigers that are in captivity.

The purpose of Google Adwords is to help create ad campaigns that can be viewed when logging into google. This is a good way to help showcase what the point of the ad is. The creation of the ad was a simple one, that literally took you step by step. The best part about it is that google provides the user with a certain amount of google money. Our account started at 120$, and every click was worth 2$.

Through this process i was able to further acknowledge what i was advertising. My ad mainly focused on a white tiger named Madison. The whole purpose of this ad is to help get donations to help make the life of exotic animals better. By better i mean, higher quality captivity, better food, and just a better and safer way of life.
