Five ways to choosing a career

When choosing a career it is a tough decision to make on what a certain person wants to do as a job for the rest of their lives. Growing up through school there are always different factors that affect what jobs we go into. Some of the examples that this includes is, friends, family, teachers, etc.

These are the Five ways to choose a career path.
1. Internet
2.Tests
3.Using flower exercise
4. Changing your career in two steps
5. Figuring out what your job requires

These five ways are very useful in figuring out what one wants to do as a career.

Internet- This way is very useful because you can literally view any and all jobs that you are interested in. It is a helpful resource because it gives in-detailed information on any and every job and it can tell you what those jobs require as a means to getting involved in that path.

Tests- Growing up through high school i always remembered taking placement test that helped you decide what jobs best suited ones interests. You either like these tests or you don't, but either way they are a good and helpful resource because they give you some ideas on what fits you best.

Flower exercise- A careful step by step process for ensuring that you are choosing a career that fits you like a glove. The flower exercise gives you the basic building blocks of who you are and so can match a career to you based on characteristics.

Changing career- This is not so much a way to identify a career, but as a way to move into that career, once you figure out where you want to go next. Its a useful way to see what that type of industry requires out of you and to get acclimated to what that field is like.

Job requirements- This is perhaps one of the most important steps because at this point you are dedicated to that one job and need to figure out how to best get acclimated to the new surroundings of that industry. You have to figure out the job requirements and then learn the jobs like the back of your hand.

Marketing with Images

With the different types of social media networks, there are different ways to catch peoples attention, examples of this include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Most commonly today we use images or pictures to catch a persons eye.

But why do we use images? The use of an image can be very beneficial for a person, because naturally the human eye is attracted to what catches their eye first. Just by viewing the image uploaded, it can be used to bring a user in to a companies web page. Images are used in advertisements all the time. The reason for this is to make the advertisement more appealing to the viewer. Reading a blank boring ad is not appealing to anyone. The point of the image is to attract the consumer.

Images can also help us better understand what the company is trying to get across to its consumers. This is important in the sense that it gives us an idea of what is being shown to us. The consumer may or may not have any appeal on the ad but they are still attracted to image which means they are still viewing the web page.

This is a screen shot of the Benedictine University home page. Right away the first thing we notice isn't the words or any of that but the images. They are big and in your face. They also help tell a story. Just by looking at the image on the Benedictine home page, I can tell that this school is very committed to its science programs. If i have any interest of science, I' m reeled in right away just by the image.

For instance in today's society we use social media as a place to post images of ourselves and tell our own personal stories. We use these images as our own personal popularity business in terms that if the photo appeals to other people, then those people are quickly to like the photo. This helps the popularity of a person and if this system can be used in social media for companies, then those companies popularity can also grow.
